ARTISTS
“It's dangerous to agree to rules you don't understand.
My manifesto is:
a statement of anger and pain,
an admission of vulnerability and confusion
but above all it's a commitment to "never again".
In a space that is meant for care, I find the opportunity to bestow my exhausted self and be reborn, determined to take care of myself.”
Artemis Panagiotidou
“Dedicated to the disgraced femininity,
silence to break for our dead
What they deprived us of, what they stole from us belongs to us.
It is ours alone.”
Eleftheria Kazana
Eleni Panouklia
“A prayer, an ode to the color of the blood, of the heart, of hell, of the wild cherry, of the rose, of the fire.
A calling to forgive mistakes and follow passions, believe in miracles and heal our wounds.”
Enact Theater, Elena Kallinikou & Marina Makri
“I think that we dwell the earth as well as our language through a state of blindness, since this inhabitation takes place on the surface of the former or on the epidermis of the latter. However, what is passed on to us is not just knowledge, but rather the ability to pass through these two ‘nights’, one of earth and the other of language. What I am interested in emphasizing is with how much strength but also with how much doubt every step of this path is forged”
Eri Dimitriadi
“I wonder what it is that surrounds us? What is it that our eyes see?
What is it that ultimately exists?
What is it that is missing?”
Ioanna Paraskevopoulou
“Woman in me
Woman in she
Woman in he
Woman in the
Woman in we
Woman in be
Woman in free
Woman in see
Woman in feel
Woman ideal
Woman idea
Woman in heal”
Lia Haraki
“I believe in the dream of works and actions that cultivate the freedom of our personal expression
Bold visions shaped by virtue, equality, respect, ethics and aesthetics”
Maria Papafigou
Maria Papapostolou and Natasa Biza
Maria Siorba
“I wanted to write
about all those forms of Loves
who are able to build their own worlds
their own DIY worlds ”
